The journey starts from the “Queen of Hills” Shimla and ends at tourist hot spot, Manali, covering beautiful places lies in Spiti valley and Kinnaur district. Sarahan, Sangla, Chitkul, Kalpa, Nako, Tabo, Dhankar, Mud, Kaza, Langza, Komic, Hikkim, Key, Kibber, Chandertal Lake, Kunzum & Rohtang Pass and Manali are the prominent pit stops during this adventuresome safari.

  • Ground Transfer: All Arrival/Departure transfers, excursions and sightseeing tours will be by Non/AC transportation (02- 06 Pax Toyota Innova) & (06-12 Pax Tempo Traveller) as per itinerary including Road / Toll taxes, Parking fee, Fuel charges, Interstate taxes, Driver Allowances etc.
  • 5% GST for the above tour

  • Tour date change etc. incurred due to the unforeseen, unavoidable forced circumstances during the
  • Services of representative on arrival / departure / Local Guide / Monument entrances / Camera fee / Video Camera (These will be on direct payment).
  • Expense of personal nature like Portage, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, wines, monument fee, medical expenses, alcoholic beverages, mineral water, items of personal nature etc.


In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/ unavoidable reasons we must be informed in written. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in written and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • Once the booking is confirmed   – 25% of the tour/service cost.
  • 15 days prior to arrival                  – 50% of the tour/service cost.
  • 07 days prior to arrival                 – 75% of the tour/service cost.
  • Less than 72 hours or no show   – NO REFUNDS
Day 01: Arrive Chandigarh – Shimla (125 Kms 3-4 Hrs)

Early morning arrival at Chandigarh and drive to Shimla. Short halt for lunch on the way. Check-in to hotel. Evening free to explore Shimla, the former summer residence of the British Raj to escape the heat of the plains with stunning views of the foothills of the Himalayas. O/N at hotel in Shimla.

Day 02: Shimla – Sarahan (170 kms /6 Hrs) 

Morning after breakfast drive through Kufri and Narkanda to reach Sarahan (2135m). From this town the snow peak of Shrikhand Mahadev is visible. Bhima Kali temple is the main attraction here. O/N at hotel in Sarahan.

Day 03: Sarahan – Sangla (90 kms /4 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Sangla which is a popular hill town located close to the Tibetan border. Sangla valley in Kinnaur district with its lush green valleys, fruit laden orchards, snow-clad peaks and widespread fields is undoubtedly a magical place and a complete package in itself. Sangla Valley is also named Baspa Valley because of the Baspa River flowing through the valley. Kinnaur however still maintains the age-old culture and social habits. O/N at hotel in Sangla.

Day 04: Sangla – Chitkul – kalpa (90 Kms /4 hrs)

We checkout from our hotel after breakfast and drive to Chitkul, the last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibetan border, positioned on the right bank of Baspa River. The place offers different landscapes that keep one intrigued in exploring all that there is to be seen. Pastures, Highlands, Views of Glaciers, Steppes, Woods, River, Orchids and beautiful wooden houses this place just possess everything to make one’s trip a remarkable experience. Later continue drive to Kalpa, a beautiful village from where one can on look the changing colors of Mt. Kinner Kailash. Arrival and check-in to hotel. Evening free to explore the way of life and local culture at nearby Roghi village. O/N at hotel in Kalpa.

Day 05: Kalpa – Nako (106 kms /5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Nako (3300+m). The road to reach Nako and the scenario are almost breathtaking and mesmerizing. The main attraction of the place is the Nako Lake and a religious rock with the foot-print of saint Padmasambhava. The delicacy of the place lies in the monastery, temples and the small village beside the adorable lake. O/N at camp in Nako.

Day 06: Nako – Tabo (70 kms /5 hrs)

After Spenidg a peaceful night by Nako lake, the day starts with a drive towards Tabo. The road in this stretch is least populated. Being a high altitude desert, there is some grass at some places. But here is where the mountains show off in full glory. Reach Tabo and explore the Tabo Monastery also called the Ajanta of Himalayas. Tabo Monastery was founded in 996 AD by Buddhist King Yeshe O’d. Housing some of the exquisite wall paintings and mud statues, the monastery is a great preserver of the Buddhist legacy. O/N at hotel in Tabo.

Day 07: Tabo – Dhankar – Mud – Kaza (90 kms /6 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive towards Mud village in Pin Valley, en- route visiting Dhankar (3890m) is our day’s agenda. After breakfast at hotel in Tabo head for Dhankar, famous for a very old Monastery, where the Dalai Lama had lived in the past. The barrenness of the place and yet how humans have conquered the odds here is something to ponder about.

Later continue your jouney towards Mud in Pin Valley. Mud is extremely remote and is also the starting point for the Pin-Parvati trek from the Spiti side. Pin Valley valley is famous for wildlife – Ibex, Snow Leopard. The extreme rural atmosphere in Mud with little mud houses doubling up as homestays and with an awesome view of the high snow capped mountains meant for a pleasant and rejuvenating day. Visit Kungri Monastery, which is supposed to be founded by Padmasambhava. In the evening reach Kaza the Sub Divisional Headquarter of Spiti Valley. O/N at hotel in Kaza.

Day 08: Kaza SightSeeing

Wake up to a beautiful morning have breakfast and drive to even higher altitudes to explore the highest inhabited regions of the world located in the periphery of Kaza. Start your day with a excursion to Komic en-route visit Langza, famous for big sitting Buddha statue and isolated conical peak of Piti Himalaya called ‘Chau Chau Kang Nilda’. The barrenness of the region and yet how humans have conquered the odds here is something to ponder about. Visit Hikkim and don’t forget to send post card from world’s highest post office located at an altitude of 4400+m.

Later head to Key Monastery. Stands on top of a hill top and surrounded by high mountains the Key Monastery is the largest one in Spiti Valley and is an important center for learning and spirituality in the region. Move on to visit Kibber village which is claimed to be world’s highest motorable village permanently inhabited. This village is the base for several high altitude treks. The unique architecture of the houses adds to the travellers delight. In the evening return to Kaza. O/N at hotel in Kaza.

Day 09: Kaza – Chandertal lake (70 kms /4 hrs) Chandertal visit subject to road/weather conditions.

After breakfast head for Chandertal Lake, a high altitude lake located 6 kms from Kunzum-La (4551m) and the source of River Chandra. It is about 4300m above the sea level and also known as ‘lake of moon’. This is one of the most beautiful lakes of the Himalayas and a great place for the campers and trekkers. There is also a regular outflow of water that keeps on varying depending upon the season. Chandertal is an important site for migratory bird during summer. O/N at camp in Chandertal Lake.

Day 10: Chandertal Lake – Manali (140 kms /6 hrs)

Wake up to a beautiful morning at Chandertal Lake and gear up for a another adventurous drive to Manali through one of the most beautiful mountain roads. Numerous water falls, fast flowing River Chandra and towering mountains will spice up your journey. Cross world famous Rohtang Pass (3980m) or Engineering marvel Atal Rohtang Tunnel to reach Manali. Later in noon check-in to hotel at Manali. Evening free for leisure.

Day 11: In Manali (Local sightseeing)

A gift of the Himalayas to the world, Manali (2050m) is a beautiful town nestled at the northern end of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh. It is a popular tourist spot for Indians in summer and a magical, snow-covered place in winter. Morning after breakfast explore the beauty and culture of Manali. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple at Dhungri, Manu Temple at old Manali and Vashisht hot water spring at Vashisht village. Evening free to explore local Manali Market.

Day 12: Manali to Chandigarh drop (320 Kms /9 hrs)

After morning breakfast at hotel departure transfer to Chandigarh railway station / airport for your onward journey with a permanent love for Spiti and Kinnaur deep in our veins.
