The tour highlights to cover the natural landscapes, stunning mountain passes and indulging in adventure by approaching the remotest areas of the respective region.

Early morning transfer to board the train for Chandigarh. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, pick up and transfer Nalagarh. Arrival at Nalagarh, proceed for check-in at the hotel. Nalagarh is a city and a gateway to Himachal Pradesh in North India. It was founded by the Chandela Rajputs in 1100 AD. Nalagarh Fort which was built in 1421 during the reign of Raja Bikram Chand is located on a hillock at the foothills of the mighty Himalayas affording a panoramic view of the Shivalik hills on the far side the Sirsa stream.
Overnight at the hotel
After buffet breakfast, you will drive to Manali enroute visiting Kullu. Kullu was once referred to as Kulanthpitha, which means the end of the habitable world. Late afternoon arrival at Manali, upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Manali is settled close to the top of the natural valley on the National road leading in Leh. One sees well-defined snow-capped peaks, the Beas River with its clear water meanders through the town. On the opposite facet are deodar cedar and pine trees, little fields and fruit orchards.
Evening at leisure and overnight at the hotel
After breakfast drive to Jispa. The route takes a traveler over Rohtang La (la means pass in Tibetan) (altitude 13,051 ft (3,978 m)), a high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. The pass is open from May to November. This pass is an ancient trade route between the folks on either side of Pir Panjal.
After Rohtang Pass Koksar (1st village of Lahaul) Sissu (3100m), where every spring and autumn wild geese and ducks halt here on their way to and from Siberia. Cross the river Chandra Bhaga at Tandi (2573m). Finally, reach Keylong (3350 m) which is the headquarters of the Lahaul region. Rudyard Kipling said of the region that “Surely the God live here this no place for men.”Later continue towards Jispa (3,200 m). The village incorporates a helipad, a post office, and a monastery.
Arrive, check-in and overnight at hotel
After breakfast drive to Sarchu, enroute stop at Darcha, a village on the Bhaga River. It is the northernmost permanent settlement along the Manali-Leh Highway. Continue to drive to Suraj Tal Lake, literally meaning the Lake of the Sun God, which is the third-highest lake in India. Next comes Baralacha la (4,890 m), a high mountain pass connecting Lahaul to Ladakh. Evening arrive at Sarchu (4,290 m) and check-in to Camp. Sarchu, a tented campsite in the Himalayas is situated on the boundary between Himachal and Ladakh.
The route and therefore the camps remain closed throughout the winter, once snow blocks the high passes on the road.
Overnight at Camp
After breakfast, Check-out from Camp and drive to Leh. Start with Gata loops (21 loops in total) which end with Nakee la (4740 m). The terrain is very dry after Nakee la with no streams or rivers to sight. Afterward, the road descends into a dry valley and quickly climbs up towards the next pass – Lachung la (5065 m), the second-highest pass on Manali – Leh highway. Continue towards the clear flow of a stream – Kangla Jal which you will follow till army camp and parachute tents of Pang (4600 m), continue upwards till you reach the vast ground leading towards the highest pass on this road. Taglang La (5,359 m), the second-highest motorable mountain pass in India.
After crossing the pass descend down to Upshi from where the human settlements start again. On arrival in Leh transfer and check in to the Hotel. Overnight at hotel
After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion of Indus Valley Monasteries. Thiksey Gompa (3,600 m) or Monastery located is noted for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. It is a 12-story building and homes several things of Buddhist art like stupas, statues, thangkas, wall paintings, and swords. Continue towards Hemis Monastery of the Drukpa Lineage, which is one of the biggest in this region. The annual Hemis celebration honoring Padmasambhava is command here in early June. Verandahs of the Gompa are adorned with many beautiful wall paintings. While returning to Leh visit Shey. The Shey Monastery and Shey Palace complex are structures located on a hillock which was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past. The religious residence is noted for its large copper with a gilded gold sculpture of a sitting Shakyamuni Buddha.
Drive back to a hotel after the tour. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast we drive to Khardung-La, the highest Motorable road in India (5359 m). The pass lies north of Leh and is the entryway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. Khardong La is traditionally vital because it lies on the key caravan route from Leh to Kashgar in Chinese Central Asia. Enjoy some amazing views from the top of the pass. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast proceed to Spituk monastery. Many icons of Buddha and fine thankas are to be found in this 15th-century Gompa. Also, visit Phyang Monastery built by Tashi Namgyal in the later half of the 16th century AD belonging to the RED HAT SECT of Buddhists. Hundreds of icons of Buddha and alternative Gods are placed on wooden shelves. Return back to Leh.
Afternoon visit Shankar Monastery, a relatively modern, attractive cluster of buildings set amongst trees above the town. Continue to Shanti Stupa which is a Buddhist white-domed stupa (chorten) on a hilltop in Chanspa built-in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. Later visit Leh palace, an impressive fort that provides commanding view of whole Leh town. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
In time pick up from the hotel and drop to Airport to board flight for Delhi.
