Travel by surface from Shimla to Sarahan, the gateway to Kinnaur enroute crossing the famous hill resorts of Kufri & Narkanda. Continue to drive along the Satluj river and from Jeori climb upto Sarahan. Sarahan is a small village surrounded by apple orchards. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Evening proceed to visit the famous Bhimakali temple at Sarahan. Overnight at hotel in Sarahan
After breakfast travel by surface from Sarahan to Kalpa. The route is along the Sutlej River. Kalpa is a beautiful village located in the backdrop of the Kinner Kailash Mountain range. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon you will visit Roghi village which has traditionally built Kinnauri houses. The evening will be free to walk around the Kalpa village. After breakfast travel to Sangla which has earned the distinction of one of the most beautiful valleys in Himachal. At Sangla visit Kamru village and make a small walk to visit Kamru Fort an old historic Fort and a masterpiece of old age craftsmanship which has a temple dedicated to Kamaksha Devi. After breakfast, go for a full day excursion visiting the picturesque village of Rakchamm a quaint, pristine and quiet village and onto Chitkul the last inhabited Indian village on Indo Tibetian Border positioned on the right bank of Baspa River. Drive back to Sangla. Rest of the day free to relax or you can also make a walk to nearby Batseri village. Batseri is jeweled by soothing saffron fields, apple laden trees, and alpine meadows. After breakfast travel by surface to Narkanda. The place has good weather throughout the year that invites people from far off areas to escape the scorching heat of the plains. Apple, peach, plums and apricot plantations even add up to the beauty of the place. Narkanda is also famed as a Ski resort. On arrival, you will check-in at the hotel. Evening will be free to relax. After breakfast check out and proceed to Shimla. Visit Jakhoo temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman nestled at the highest peak of Shimla (2500 m). Check-in at your pre-booked accommodation. Later proceed to visit Viceregal Lodge (now Indian Institute of Advance studies – IIAS) that uses to be the residence of British Viceroys after Shimla was declared the summer capital in 1864.
