This tour will cover a few of the most beautiful valleys of Himachal Pradesh namely Karsog and Tirthan, home to the Great Himalayan National Park. Along with its natural beauty, these areas are blessed with amazing architectural monuments varying from temples, forts, and palaces to local houses which are built in traditional style using local materials. From the oldest fort of Himachal to the tallest fort of Himachal one gets to experience all. Join us for a walk around the village, a chance to mingle with locals, homestays to enjoy local cuisine and lots more to offer.

Arrive Chandigarh. Upon arrival pickup and transfer to hotel. Chandigarh is a city and union territory that serves as capital of two states, Haryana and Punjab. The city of Chandigarh was the first planned city in India and is known internationally for its architecture and urban design. Afternoon proceed for local sightseeing of Chandigarh visiting rock garden which houses sculptures made by using a variety of different discarded waste materials like frames, mudguards, forks, handle bars, metal wires, play marbles, porcelain, auto parts, broken bangles etc. Later visit Sukhna lake which is a beautiful manmade lake that lies in the foothills of Shivalik range. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Anandpur Sahib known as "the holy City of Bliss," closely linked with Sikh religious traditions and history. City was founded in the year 1665 by the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Teg Bahadur. Visit to 07 Holy Grurdwara’s in Anandpur Sahib: Gurudwara Takht Shri Keshgarh Sahib, Gurudwara Sisganj Sahib, Gurudwara Bhora Sahib, Gurudwara Thara Sahib, Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib, Gurudwara Damdama Sahib and Gurudwara Manji Sahib. After sightseeing in Anandpur sahib, continue towards Kullu, once known as Kulanthpitha, which means the end of the habitable world. Late evening arrival at Kullu. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive towards Manikaran located in the Parvati Valley. At an altitude of 1760 m. It is a pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sikhs. The area is well-known for its hot springs and its beautiful landscape. According to Sikhs, during third Udasi, Guru Nanak Dev Ji came to this place in 15 Asu 1574 Bikrami with his disciples Bhai Bala & Bhai Mardana. After visiting Manikaran drive to Manali via Naggar, situated on the left bank of river Beas at an altitude of 1851m. Naggar - an ancient town commands extensive views, especially to the North West of the valley. Naggar was the former capital of Kullu. Naggar Castle now turned into a hotel commands a spectacular view of the valley. Also visit the “Nicholas Roerich art Gallery”, an elegant mansion where the works of the famous Russian Painter Nicholas Roerich, who had chosen Naggar as his residence when he came to India in 1929, are stored. Continue drive to Manali. Overnight at hotel.
Morning breakfast at hotel and proceed to visit Vashisht, a small village near Manali famous for its hot water springs, which are said to carry medicinal properties. Also visit the famous temple Hadimba Devi or Dhungari temple. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas and was built in the year 1553. Evening walk down on the Mall, from this central area the town spills downwards, with winding roads. Overnight at the Hotel.
After breakfast proceed to Mandi. The historic town of Mandi (800m) is situated along the banks of river Beas. Mandi is renowned for its 81 temples and their enormous range of fine carving. Visit Gurudwara Palang Sahab, built in honour of Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Sikh Guru, who spent some time in Mandi. Afternoon proceed for an excursion to Rewalsar. Located on a mountain spur, an hour's drive from Mandi brings you to this jewel-like lake. The spot is sacred for Hindus, Buddhists and Sikhs. The place is particularly sacred to Namdhari Sikhs due to its mention in Sau Sakhi as a sanctuary. The gurudwara was built in 1930 by Raja Joginder Sen of Mandi. Evening return back to Mandi. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast you will drive to Amritsar. Enroute visit the Baijnath Temple. It is supposed to be the temple where Ravana worshipped Shiva to gain immortality. Evening arrival at Amritsar. Amritsar is home to the Harmandir Sahib (referred as the Golden Temple), the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh religion. It also houses the Sikh temporal and political authority, Akal Takht as well as the Sikh Parliament. Amritsar is also known for the tragically incidents of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre in 1919 under British Rule. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast proceed for Half day Gurudwara Yatra around Amritsar. Visit Gurudwara Shri Tarn Taran Sahib (25 Kms) - is a Gurudwara established by the fifth guru, Guru Arjun Dev, it has the distinction of having the largest Sarovar (Water pond) of all the gurudwaras. Then Visit Khadoor Sahib (15 Kms from Tarn Taran) which was the family home of second Guru Sri Angad Dev Ji. Guru Ji established his religious center here and spent the rest of his life at Khadur Sahib. Then proceed to Goindwal Sahib (10 Kms from Khadur Sahib), which was the first centre of Sikhism and was established by Sri Guru Amar Das Ji. Afternoon return back to Amritsar and visit Golden temple. Shining in the morning light, the gilded splendor of its paneling and big dome and small minarets, this temple is a fairy world palace to the devotees of the Sikh faith. Continue to visit the Jallianwala Bagh - the historic site where hundreds of innocent Indian men, women and children were massacred by British General Michael Dyer on April 13, 1919. Overnight at hotel.
